    Antique DUTCH WOODEN SHOES Purchased in Holland LADIES DRESS SHOES
    Picture yourself walking down the street of a quaint town in the Netherlands and entering a small antique shop. That is where I happened upon these charming wooden shoes. The shop keeper explained that they are over 100 years old and were hand carved to be ladies dress shoes (that is why they aren't shaped like the typical Dutch wooden shoes). At some point, the wood on one shoe cracked, so they were never worn.
    That mishap adds so much character to the shoes! I love old things that actually look old! For years these sat on my hearth, but I've needed to downsize so I thought I'd find a new home for them. I think you will love them!
