My blouses are top quality completely hand-sewn and hand embroidered on the finest gauze cotton with cotton and/or silk thread, they are pure art. The blouses are decorated with rich traditional motives which can be traced hundreds of year back in history. Some of the motives have names like “The Destiny Wheel”, “The Chamomile”, “
The Comb
”, " The Stars " ," The Flowers in Lace " , " The Eagle  "  and it takes a embroiderer over one month of work to finish one garment, so intricate and fine is the pattern. There is no sewing machine involved, everything is hand done.

Antique Romanian blouse dress handmade around 1940 1970. It is hand stitched with black cotton thread on homespun flax - cotton - hemp cloth and silver thread. Decorated with lace around lower hems. The upper part (the blouse) and the lower part (the skirt are made of the same fabric.
It have A shape from the waist.
Size L - XL or even XXL, so unusual for an old Romanian dress.
Measurements: dress length: 135 cm or 53 inches. The length of the upper part, from the shoulder to the waist: 52 cm or 20. 47 inches.
circumference around bust: 134 cm or 52. 75 inches
circumference around waist: 120 cm or 47. 24 inches
Condition: good condition with minor traces of the wear. No noticeable stain, no tear, 3 small reparations: two on the lower part of the skirt, small and hardly noticeable, one of them in captured in my photo and the third was at the back, neat waist. It was covered with a hand stitch flower. Clean and ready to be worn. When I found it, the neck was extremely used, so the neck was replaced. The black embroidery is faded out due to the dress age and it is not uniformly discolored because the most probably the hand embroiderer used thread from two different producers. You can see this on the left sleeve mostly.
The dress weight is almost 1 kilogram or 2. 2 pounds.
