Unique and rare women's ethnic costume from Galichnik, Miyak Mala Reka region

This is one of the most valuable, most rare and most appreciate it Macedonian ethnic costumes by collectors. It is very rare and unique costume. Made and worn by the small ethnic group Miyaks, in the region of Mala Reka, village Galichnik. This costume has a few remarkable pieces, parts such as the vest, the shirt, the long dress, the front side decor with the silver plated buttons, handmade, filigree buttons.
The long shirt, the dress and the vest have extraordinary embroidery, made by perfection. This costume is real pearl in the sea of collectible ethnic costumes.
This costume was made and worn in the beginning of the XX century. It was kept and given from to another for at least 4 generations.
These costumes are still used once a year in the village of Galichnik, usually in a weekend 7-15 July, every year. In one weekend in the village they are recreating, remaking a wedding in original, traditional costumes for the bride and the groom with all the traditions. The whole ceremony of the wedding is two days, visited by many visitors, some with Galichnic roots, origin and some tourists.
