    Description

    This is a handmade apron, part of a Vlaski women's ethnic costume. It is an apron made of velvet, very rare and hand embroidered. The apron was made in the middle of the first half of XX century and is kept in a very good condition, without damages of any kind, no holes, rips or stains.
    The apron was part of the women's ethnic costume of a small ethnic group of people living in the eastern part of Macedonia, known as Vlasi. The apron is part of the costume from the village of Sofilari, near the city of Stip in the central part of eastern Macedonia.
